Vice Pres­i­dent, Facil­i­ties and Parks
The Vice Pres­i­dent of Facil­i­ties & Parks is respon­si­ble for ensur­ing the pro­vi­sion of util­i­ties and the main­te­nance of a safe and beau­ti­ful envi­ron­ment in the build­ings and pub­lic spaces for the pub­lic and all mem­bers of the Gov­er­nors Island community.

Direc­tor of Hor­ti­cul­ture
The Direc­tor of Hor­ti­cul­ture is respon­si­ble for all aspects of man­age­ment and long-term care of Gov­er­nors Island’s diverse gar­dens. The Direc­tor will shape open space man­age­ment pro­to­cols and lead a pro­fes­sion­al hor­ti­cul­ture team. Must have a hands-on lead­er­ship style, strate­gic vision, in-depth knowl­edge of native plants and eco­log­i­cal gar­den­ing, and an under­stand­ing of arboriculture.

Para­le­gal
The Para­le­gal will work close­ly with busi­ness staff across the Trust’s func­tion­al areas, includ­ing teams respon­si­ble for real estate, cap­i­tal devel­op­ment, arts, events, pub­lic affairs, and finance.

Sea­son­al Cus­to­di­an
The Sea­son­al Cus­to­di­an will work with a diverse team to achieve the high­est stan­dards of clean­li­ness in build­ings and pub­lic restrooms on the Island.

Com­mu­ni­ca­tions and Pub­lic Affairs Intern
The Com­mu­ni­ca­tions and Pub­lic Affairs intern will work close­ly with the entire Pub­lic Affairs team, which over­sees com­mu­ni­ca­tions, mar­ket­ing, com­mu­ni­ty engage­ment, and pub­lic pro­gram­ming, to sup­port efforts to engage a diverse audi­ence of New York­ers dur­ing the Island’s busiest season.

Allied Uni­ver­sal Secu­ri­ty is seek­ing full time and part time secu­ri­ty staff to sup­port a safe, wel­com­ing atmos­phere on Gov­er­nors Island.
